We’re going from Brisbane and finishing at Busby’s Bore!!
So what, you ask???
Well… The 30 Year Bash Celebration is covering over 4,929 kms!!
Commencing at Suncorp Stadium – the home of King Wally!
Final Destination for the 30 year Celebrations for Variety is Busby’s Bore — Say What? Where the heck is Busby’s Bore located? Here’s a bit of history for you…
In 1824, Governor Darling appointed 59 year-old engineer John Busby, as Government Mineral Surveyor. Busby recommended the Lachlan Swamps between Paddington and Randwick (now part of Centennial Park) as a suitable new source of water.
We are travelling through 3 states of Australia – NSW, QLD and VIC to finally meet up with all the Variety Bashes across Australia in Busby’s Bore.
